Tim Siglin of Kingsport’s Office of Small Business & Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) reports that the live internet streaming feed of Friday night’s “ETSU Bluegrass on Broad Street” was picked-up by folks in western Kentucky, Charlotte, Tampa Bay, Bend (Oregon) and New Hampshire. It was limited to areas >50 miles from Kingsport.
He also provides the following report of the Hurricane Relief concert held Monday night in the historic White City neighborhood (see below).

Hi Jeff,
Tracy Edwards may have already sent this info to you, but the White City neighborhood (Yadkin and Norwood Streets, around Yadkin Green) were able to raise over $5,000 this evening for Hurricane Katrina relief. Everything was donated, from the musicians' time - six bands in all including ETSU's Bluegrass Band - to the portable toilets, stage, food and handcrafts.
An estimated 250 people showed up on very short notice - Tracy had the idea early Friday morning - thanks to the marketing provided by you, the Times-News and a live feed from WCYB this evening. Several visitors to our neighborhood commented on how much fun they'd had and wondered aloud if we can do it again next year - we'll see but I'm sure we can find a worthy cause to put our energies behind if we look hard enough.
Thanks again for your help.
Regards,
Tim Siglin
